i stopped going to meetings last year.

before then i had started a successful business.

since fading only four witnesses have made contact with me (i know thats better than some!)..

Another case of passangers stuffing thier faces with treats off the "sweets table" before the Titanic sinks!

After a forty year association with the WT, I was placed in a corner: Lie as a pledge of loyalty or be DFed for apostasy.

The willingness to lie is a needed quality of an intelligent, aggressive JW as they will "rush ahead of the Org" (they realize an error) and, then, must lie to allow the Org to "catch up."

This is why I view the JWs as children of Satan. Those that "come out of the family" end up labeled "apostates." As I told one brother: "A Truth Seeker and a God Lover will, eventially, be kicked out of the Org."

Do DF'd or DA'd people...

get to talk to each other?

if two df'd people saw each other on the street and both knew the other was df'd or da'd would they speak to each other?.

they're already out of the borg at this point.

We were told the Elders anounced we were DF'd.

So, what are we suppossed to do if we meet a DA'd/DF'd person?

This has not happened, yet, however, I think the Ukranian Dance of Joy (with clothes on) would be appropriate. We will see.......

The Day Has Arrived

two months ago i stepped down as an elder in the cong, it was a tremdous relief although a shock to the cong.

two and a half days ago i sent in a letter of explaination concerning why i wanted to step down and why i will be absent from the kh.

it only took two and a half days for the accusation of apostasy to be made against me.

In Journey, it is good to come into a camp of fellow travelers, sit next to the fire out of the wind, sip a cup of tee or coffee, and be able to relax and refresh you mind, heart, and body. Some rest for a bit and move on...others linger....

Mrs. Williams and I agree: for comedy, personality, funny looks, and stupidity disguised as cocky intelligence you can not beat a dachshound...although I can not spell the name!
